From Earth to Art: Handmade Watercolor Series — Barns of Rose Hill
Beginning with natural earth and mineral pigments, participants will create their own handmade watercolor paints, learn foundational watercolor techniques, and use their custom palette to complete a Shenandoah Valley-inspired landscape.
During the first session, you'll learn how watercolor paint is made as you mix, grind, and prepare a custom palette of five handmade colors to take home.
In the second session, you'll build confidence with beginner-friendly techniques, including washes, color mixing, glazing, brush control, and layering.
The series concludes with a guided landscape painting inspired by the beauty of the Shenandoah Valley, using the very paints you made during the first class.
Registration includes all specialized materials, a reusable watercolor tin, handmade watercolor pans, a refillable water-brush pen, printed guides, and your completed 9" × 12" watercolor painting.

Ghosts of Paintings Past: Spooky Old Canvas Workshop
Give an old painting a delightfully spooky second life!
Join Dip Into Art, LLC at Clermont Farm for a creative afternoon inside the historic kitchen of the Clermont Farmhouse. Each participant will receive a pre-loved painted canvas and transform it by adding whimsical Halloween details such as ghosts, spiderwebs, pumpkins, bats, spooky little friends, and other fall-inspired touches.
No two paintings will be exactly alike, which makes this workshop especially fun. You’ll be encouraged to work with the scene already on your canvas and make it completely your own. Prefer cute over creepy? Absolutely. Traditional fall colors will be available, along with a pink ghost option for anyone who wants a softer, playful twist.

This delightful Crushed Stained-Glass Pumpkin nestles into a 12-Inch Laser Cut Pumpkin Wooden layout. Using resin and crushed multicolored glass pieces, we will craft a beautiful pumpkin, perfect for adorning your window, creating a thoughtful gift, or to welcome the fall season. All supplies and instructor-led guidance is included.
