In this fun Beyond the Canvas creative workshop, you'll transform a plain coir door mat into a beautiful piece of seasonal decor perfect for your front porch, entryway, or as a handmade gift.
Choose from a variety of festive autumn designs featuring pumpkins, colorful leaves, cozy greetings, vintage trucks, farm-house inspired sayings, and more. Whether your style is rustic, whimsical, or classic fall, there's a design waiting for you!
Each participant will receive a 30 × 17-inch doormat and will be able to choose from a variety of fall-themed stencil designs.
To give participants the design options at the workshop you’ll be tracing your “chosen” design onto the mat, select your colors, and paint it with step-by-step guidance.

Fun Fact: The Harvest Moon rises earlier for several nights in a row, creating that beautiful “lingering moonlight” effect.

About the Series: Discover watercolor from the ground up in this unique three-part workshop with Dip Into Art, LLC.
Beginning with natural earth and mineral pigments, participants will create their own handmade watercolor paints, learn foundational watercolor techniques, and use their custom palette to complete a Shenandoah Valley-inspired landscape.
During the first session, you'll learn how watercolor paint is made as you mix, grind, and prepare a custom palette of five handmade colors to take home.
In the second session, you'll build confidence with beginner-friendly techniques, including washes, color mixing, glazing, brush control, and layering.
The series concludes with a guided landscape painting inspired by the beauty of the Shenandoah Valley, using the very paints you made during the first class.
Registration includes all specialized materials, a reusable watercolor tin, handmade watercolor pans, a refillable water-brush pen, printed guides, and your completed 9" × 12" watercolor painting.
